East Lake Resort is located in a spectacularly scenic, geologic and archeological wonderland located in Central Oregon. Situated in the Newberry National Volcanic Monument Caldera at just under 6,400 feet elevation, the lake is fed by snowmelt and underground springs. Known for it’s exceptional trout and kokanee fishing and for it’s incredible scenery, East Lake covers 1,050 acres, is approximately a mile in diameter, has a maximum depth of 185 feet, and average depth of over 67 ft. The resort is one of the premier full service fishing resorts in the state. Established in 1915, the resort has cabins, an RV park, lake front tent sites, cafe, general store, gift shop, marina, and boat rentals.
