Description

Immerse yourself in the 19th century at Lincoln Log Cabin State Historic Site near this KOA. Costumed guides play Tom and Sarah Lincoln and their neighbors at the working living history farm, owned in the 1840s by Honest Abes father and stepmother. You’re only 45 miles from Arthur/Arcola, the hub of Illinois Amish country, and 30 miles from Eastern Illinois University and Lake Land College. Shaded level sites offer beautiful views of the rising/setting sun. Swim in the pool or rent a boat to fish on the lake. Play volleyball and basketball or enjoy the game room. From Memorial Day to Labor Day, you can dig in to biscuits and sausage gravy on Saturdays, pancake breakfasts on Sundays and ice cream socials on Saturday nights. Celebrate July 4th by watching Caseys fireworks. Be sure to check out Caseys huge wind chime, golf tee, knitting needles and crochet hook, all the largest in the world according to Guinness World Records.
